Nigeria to feature in upcoming African Boxing Championships
The African Zone 2 Boxing Championships, which will be held in Dakar, Senegal, will feature Nigeria.
Anta Gueye, the Senegal Boxing Federation’s secretary general, made this announcement at a recent press conference.
Gueye, who is also a director on the board of the Africa Boxing Confederation, stated that she anticipates a sold-out crowd for the Dakar event in March 2023.
15 nations from Zone 2 will compete in the final tournament, which will include a 1-Star certification program for coaches, referees, and judges.
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo are the nations in question.
