Pastor Adeboye Of Redeemed Church Releases Prophecies For 2023

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG,) Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for 2023.

Pastor Adeboye, during the Crossover live Service 2022-2023, at the New Arena, Simawa in Ogun State, categorized his prophecies into World, RCCG Members, and Individuals.

In his message, the cleric said for the 2023 world prophecies, migration would take a new turn in the new year.

Adeboye also said the world would be “relatively more peaceful” this year.

The clergy added that the weather pattern would be ”more erratic”, but it would be nice wherever God’s children were.

Regarding individual prophecies, the RCCG general overseer during his proclamation said people’s most significant challenges of 2022 would lead to their biggest testimonies in 2023.

”In 2023, the Lord will speak peace to some troubled homes,” he said. ”In 2023, for quite a few people, there would be a restoration of lost glories.”

In what he proclaimed his famous prophecy for 2023, Adeboye said ”Many troublemakers will lose the ability to make trouble this year.”

He further stated that “Few balloons will be deflated this year. There will be a bit of wealth transfer.

“Generally, 2023 is a year of many opportunities; wonderful.”
A News Agency of Nigeria reporter, who monitored the congregational service, observed that prayers were made to restore the world, Nigeria, communities, and families.

More prayers were said for the country to overcome challenges and avert further troubles in its economy and activities.

‘My Life Is An Example That God Can Change People’s Situations For Good, ‘My Parents Were So Poor I Had No Shoes For 18 Years’ – Adeboye

Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), says he had no shoes for the first 18 years of his life.

The cleric spoke about his poor background in his Christmas message titled “Perfect Gift” over the weekend.

Adeboye said his parents could not afford a pair of shoes for him at the time because they were poor.

The clergyman also said his life is an example that God can change people’s situations for good.

“Some of you who know a little bit about my background, you know when they talk about people coming from a rocky background, that means from a background of hardship.

My own rocky background was a rock among the rocks,” he said.
“My father was so poor, (that) poor people called him poor.

The elders have a saying when there is a hardship for the husband, and hardship for the wife, there must be hardship for the children.

“The hardship rubbed off on me. For the first 18 years of my life, I had no shoes.

My father was so poor.

The day he bought an umbrella, we were rejoicing, but look at me today, look at what Jesus can do, He can change the poor to the rich; change the unknown to the known.”

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the cleric further recounted how people mocked his father in the village because he was poor.

“Growing up, the poor in our village called my family poor because of how wretched my father and mother were.

But today, there is nowhere the Redeemed Christian Church of God is not known worldwide by God’s mercies,” he added.

“I pray for you, that my God Will announce you for good and poverty will become a thing of the past in Your life in Jesus name.”

Spain’s King Felipe condemns the bloodshed in Ukraine, in his Christmas speech.

In his Christmas address to the country, King Felipe VI of Spain decried the Russian conflict against Ukraine and its effects.

In his Christmas speech, which was aired on radio and television on Saturday night, the king stated that the fighting had “already wreaked a level of carnage and ruin that is hard to conceive.”

Felipe foresaw the repercussions of a “global importance” conflict that had compromised Spain’s security.

He stated that in light of this, Spain and its allies must “strengthen collective defense.”

At the same time, however, peace must be sought with the international community.

Democracy and the European Union are “the two pillars” on which Spain’s present and future are based, the 54-year-old explained.

But there were three main risks facing democracies today, Felipe warned: these were “division,” the “deterioration of coexistence” and the “erosion of institutions.”

The head of state also discussed the energy and economic issues, as well as global inflation, in his speech, which was filmed a few days ago and lasted roughly 12 minutes.

He claimed that this had a detrimental effect on Spanish households.

“The rise in prices, especially food, is causing households to feel insecure,” he said.

Archbishop Martins urged Nigerians to maintain their commitment to hope and faith in his Christmas celebration message

The Most Reverend (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, the Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, has urged Nigerians to hold true to their faith and trust that the Almighty God will liberate our nation from the shackles of bad leadership and the ensuing poverty, injustice, inequity, and feelings of marginalization.

He urged everyone to continue holding onto the hope that Nigeria would one day return to the road of wealth and peace.

The Director of Social Communications, Rev. Fr. Anthony Godonu, signed the 2022 Christmas message from Archbishop Martins, who stated that, just as Jesus was born on Christmas Eve and brought redemption to all of humanity, so his birth this year will bring about positive change to the nation’s socio-economic and political landscape.

According to the cardinal, Christmas should be a sign of hope that God hasn’t forgotten about Nigeria and Nigerians. On the contrary, the time will soon come when the forces of regression will be defeated.

He said “Just as Christmas begets hope for humanity, so also it heralds hope for our country Nigeria, particularly at this period when millions of citizens are in pain and frustrated as a result of hardship in the land. We must cultivate the spirit of expectanc.

“Just as the story of Christmas is the story of God’s unending love for us, my message to you is that God loves us and so his love is bound to beget hope; hope for a better tomorrow. As the Prophet Isaiah prophesied, our salvation is close at hand.”

“However, as they say: heaven helps those who help themselves, so all Nigerians need to do the needful; we must all pay keen attention to the political happenings as we look forward to the general elections coming up next year. All eligible Nigerians who have registered must take time to go and get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) and come out en-masse to cast their votes in February and March 2023. We must ensure that we cast out votes not on the basis of primordial sentiments but on the bases of character, capacity, competence and demonstrated disposition to change the fortunes of this great nation,” Martins added.

The Prelate also advised Nigerians to avoid selling their votes to the highest political bidders in order to protect their futures and the futures of their children. He urged them to pray for the spirit of discernment to help them choose the right leaders in the upcoming elections.

He also issued a challenge to the political class, urging them to constantly let their fear of God direct them in the direction of wise decisions that will advance society as a whole rather than just a privileged few.

Pope Reveals Why He Signed A Resignation Letter

Pope Francis revealed for the first time in an interview that he had signed a resignation letter nearly a decade ago should poor health prevent him from carrying out his duties.

Francis — who turned 86 recently — has said in the past that he would step down from the papacy should health problems keep him from his duties.

In the Spanish newspaper ABC, the pontiff said he signed his resignation letter and handed it over to the Vatican’s secretary of state, Tarcisio Bertone, before that cardinal’s retirement in 2013.

“I signed the resignation and I told him, ‘In case of medical impediment or whatever, here’s my resignation. You have it,” the Pope said.

Asked by the interviewer whether he wanted that fact to be known, Francis replied: “That’s why I’m telling you.”

He added that he didn’t know what Bertone subsequently did with the letter.

Francis has been limited in his ability to walk by an inoperable knee condition which has forced him to rely on a wheelchair in recent months.

The Pope has had to cancel or curtail activities several times over the past year because of pain and in an interview, in July he acknowledged that he needed to slow down.

“I think that at my age and with this limitation, I have to save myself a little bit to be able to serve the Church. Or, alternatively, to think about the possibility of stepping aside,” he said.

Francis’s predecessor, Benedict XVI, quit over failing health in 2013. He now lives quietly in Vatican City.

I Signed My Resignation Letter Long Ago, Says Pope Francis

Pope Francis is framed by decorations on the Christmas tree as he leads the Angelus from the window of his studio overlooking St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican on Dec. 8, 2022, the feast of the Immaculate Conception.

The leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Jesuit Jorge Mario Bergoglio popularly called Pope Francis has revealed for the first time that he had signed his resignation letter nearly a decade ago should poor health prevent him from carrying out his duties.

The Bishop of Rome turned 86 on December 17 and also celebrated 53 years as a priest on December 13.

In an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC, the Pope said he signed his resignation letter and handed it over to the Vatican’s secretary of state, Tarcisio Bertone, before that cardinal’s retirement in 2013.

Pope Francis had said in the past that he would step down from the papacy should health problems keep him from his duties.

Recall that Pope Francis’s predecessor, Benedict XVI, also quit over failing health in 2013.

He said, “I have already signed my renunciation,” Pope Francis revealed, noting that he did so early in the papacy.

“I signed it and said: ‘If I should become impaired for medical reasons or whatever, here is my resignation. Here you have it.”

Asked by the interviewer whether he wanted that fact to be known, Francis replied: “That’s why I’m telling you.”

“I think that at my age and with this limitation, I have to save myself a little bit to be able to serve the Church. Or, alternatively, to think about the possibility of stepping aside,” he said.

Pope Francis had surgery on his colon in 2021. Earlier this year, he also shared that he was also having problems with his knee.

During the months that followed, Pope Francis had to cancel some public events and a papal trip to Africa due to ligament pain in his right knee.

He also stopped taking the stairs and in May, after receiving medical treatment, he started using a wheelchair or walking short distances with a cane.

Brother of Pastor Oritsejafor’s Wife Speaks On Report They Are Divorced

Opeyemi Falegan, blood brother of Pastor Helen Oritsejafor, the wife of Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has reacted to reports that the couple is divorced.

Recall that there were reports last week that the Senior Pastors of Word of Life Bible Church, located in Warri, Delta State, are divorced.

They had been married for 25 years before last week’s divorce reports.

But Falegan, a politician and ex-lover of controversial Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has said the marriage between his sister and the former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria is not over.

In a post on his Instagram page, he wrote: “My sister is not divorced and will never be Divorced this claim is without evidence as some media outlets framed it, Before you share a story kindly spend a moment evaluating the evidence.

“Attaching our family name (Falegan) to infidelity is not only disgusting but abhorrence and totally unacceptable, Falegan families are known for their strong moral principles.

“I support good journalism but I will criticise stories that are poorly researched or downright misleading.

“Use your media literacy to discern and amplify truths that are backed up by good evidence, Kindly desist from further lies – Opeyemi David Falegan (mama Helens Ortisejafor blood brother) clearing the air.”

But those who flew the kite of the divorce based their reasons largely on Helen Orisejafor’s long absence from the church, especially during the 50th anniversary of the priesthood of her husband and the one-week celebration to mark it.

Her photograph was not even on the poster printed for the event.

Apart from her not occupying her usual place beside her husband in the church, she was also said to have continued her daily prayer session on Facebook even while the 50th ordination anniversary of Pastor Oritsejafor lasted from November 6 to 15, 2022.

Some of the reports claimed Pastor Helen Oritsejafor is at present in the United Kingdom.
