Five months after rupturing his Achilles tendon, Victor Moses joined his Spartak Moscow colleagues in the gym.
In preparation for the start of the Russian Premier League, Moses, 32, showed up for practice on Thursday at the Club’s practice facility.
After initially being on loan from Chelsea, the Nigerian winger signed a permanent agreement with the team. He also spent time on loan at Inter Milan, when he was reunited with Antonio Conte, the former Chelsea manager.
Burnley was interested in signing the Premier League champion last year, but the League body rejected the transfer, according to Sky Sports, because of Russia’s political impasse with the West and the subsequent War in Ukraine.
He was then presented with a new contract by Spartak Moscow in February of last year that is valid until June 2024.
Following the practice on Thursday, the club posted pictures of the two-time Europa League champion on their official social media page.
