A fan’s assertion that Phyno, a prominent rapper from Nigeria known by his stage name Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, has sickle cell illness has been debunked.
The native rapper addressed a claim made by a follower on Twitter that Phyno had sickle cell anemia.
The supporter, Ele Peter, claimed that learning that Phyno had sickle cell disease made her love for the musician treble.
She wrote in the tweet, “Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell the love tripled. I pray God grants him the strength to keep fighting.”
However, Phyno reacted via his official Twitter page on Wednesday by denying the fan’s unguarded comment. He also extended his love and best wishes to everyone suffering from the disease.
The singer then replied: “Lol. No, I do not have sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it though.”’
