The movie industry in the country, especially the Yoruba movie genre has been thrown into a mournful mood, as a popular actor, Alhaji Kamal Adebayo popularly known as Sir Kay -is dead.
His death was announced on the official Facebook page of the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages committee, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya.
In his words “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo(sir Kay). May Allah grant him eternal peace. R.I.P SIR KAY”
Information has it, that the talented actor, died Tuesday morning after a brief illness.
