Senator Orji Kalu, the former governor of Abia State, has revealed that his first wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu, passed away at the age of 61.
The former governor and Chief Whip of the Senate claimed Ifeoma was a woman of virtue who was devoted to serving God and humanity in a post on his official social media profile, which was signed by him.
Kalu wrote in the post, “With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61.
“She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
“A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America.”
He requested people to pray for Mrs. Ifeoma and her family ones during this trying time.
