The training for enumerators and supervisors that was originally scheduled for April 13 has been postponed indefinitely by the National Population Commission.
According to Dr. Ipalibo Harry, Chairperson of the Census Commission, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Harry confirmed the population and housing census, which was scheduled to take place from May 3 to May 7, will go as planned.
He added that the commission had already finished training the Quality Data Managers and others, and that it was prepared to conduct a reliable census.
A new date for the supervisors’ and enumerators’ training will be announced as soon as feasible, according to the chairman of the census committee.
