DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BY FEMALE PARTNER 😔

“It Does Happen To Men” Breaks The Myth

In a sane society, people would laugh over the perspective of domestic violence by a female against her male counterpart. In fact, to some people,  such a thing is more of an exception, and could not be contemplated. It sounds incredible and borders on the impossible. But in today’s world, is it?

Over the years, the issue of domestic violence has become a threat to the psyche of victims who may be spouses, irrespective of the legal or domiciliary status of the relationship in which it occurs. Physical and sexual assault accompanied by verbal intimidation and physical abuse is never accepted as a norm in any society. Yet, there are individuals who have suffered low esteem due to their inability to find a listening ear they can confide in, to explain or discuss their challenges.

However, women have enjoyed much publicity because of their assumed vulnerability to the overpowering strength of the man. Notwithstanding, there are also women whose violent and temperamental disposition has taken a bitter toll on the personality of a spouse who chooses not to retaliate, or hit a woman.

It Does Happen To Men is a real-life diary of the day-to-day challenges a man went through in marriage. The author, James Mackie, encapsulates in realism the experience in the hands of a typical woman with an upending character that demeans the personality of a man. It cancels the general thought that men often do take advantage of the opposite sex, because of their assumed weakness.

It is a must-read for couples, singles, marriage counselors, scholars, and religious leaders, etc. You never can tell, someone out there may need to be saved from the horrors of domestic violence within the hallowed precincts of a family in your neighborhood.

“It Does Happen To Men” serves as a voice and provides a line of action to take when marital tides get rough and tough with uncertainties.

*Mackie is a professional life coach and a motivational speaker who is passionate in giving back to society. Watch out for an exclusive interview with the author.

Nude Video: I Can’t Kill Myself, Etinosa Shakes Off Shame

Comedian and actress, Etinosa Idemudia, is a lady with a lion heart and it is right to think that way after what happened to her last week. The actress was videoed appearing completely nude, though undr the influence of alcohol in a live chat with Mc Galaxy. But in a post on Instagram, she said she won’t kill herself even though a lot of people had expected her to turn sober and they will be happy. Read her.

“A lot of people were shocked I was already a cover girl to a magazine granting interviews and hosting shows outside Lagos- Back to work. They did not expect me to rise and shine. At least not so soon they said. They would feel better if I hide my head in shame, lay low and disappear for the rest of my life.”

“However, I will be a bigger disappointment to the girls who look up to me if I do not show them how they could also rise above their mistakes:

– Own your mess up – Do not let some of the greatest weapons of failure- shame and fear keep you down… And then depression sets in… Low self-esteem and the feeling you will never be anything great comes in.

-Don’t listen to that voice in your head or that acclaimed adviser Nowamagbe who constantly drums it into your ear that you have messed up and it’s the end of the road. Those people who take joy in analysing your mess up and how it will affect you rather than discussing way forward or just minding their own business altogether. Cut them off. -The proof of a strong man is not the absence of wounds but exactly how he heals and rises for the next battle. Se ogun laye ni? Yes! Ogun l’awa!! And The absence of wounds only show a child who has never been in battle

-As casual as this sounds “I cannot come and kill myself” it is one of the strongest tools of motivation against suicide and other regret related reactions. -Even a righteous man shall fall several times and rise up again. So don’t beat yourself up

From recent events, I have come to realise a lot of people look up to me. Wow. Also, a lot of people dealing with shame and rejection from family and friends as well. A lot of people who have been tagged useless and worthless. Also the black sheep of families. At first I said please I’m human go and look up to Jesus Christ but then again God uses humans. As a role model I have shown you how to fall. Now, permit me to show you how to rise again like an eagle, like the Queen you are, like the Luxurious BOSS that I am. Churchill Hits Tonto Dike, Says ‘I’ve Never Lived With Her Under One Roof’

Olakunle Churchill, the estranged husband of sultry actress, Tonto Dike, has labeled his crashed marriage with the screen diva as a movie script. The entrepreneur and philanthropist is in a court case with Tonto Dikeh.

When asked how he feels about the controversial publicity his relationship with the actress is getting, Olakunle Churchill said:

“At first l was bothered but later the whole scenario became a movie script, where the executive director, is the producer, script writer and actor all in the name of bringing down and tarnishing the image of your ex, to the extent that people who were not part of our marital plans or who were not even in the know of our marital issues were hired and cajoled to concoct lies against me. She claims to be the bread winner of her family. Is she the Nigerians President’s daughter?”

When asked if he truly met Tonto Dikeh at a night club called Escape, Olakunle Churchill said:

“You mean squatting? This is ridiculous. Before I met the Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, I was already one of the most successful young millionaires in Africa. I met her at a night club, during my brother’s birthday party in 2014 and it was about the same time I acquired the latest Benz cars.

“Three months after we met, she got pregnant. I have never really stayed in Nigeria for too long, because I do business in Ghana, although I have an office at Ikoyi. She visited me in Ghana several times and when she broke the news of her pregnancy three months into the relationship, I decided to visit her in Nigeria. I had to visit her often, because she was carrying my child.

“I have never squatted or lived with her and the only time we stayed together was after the birth of my son, which came with the approval of her parents, after I had completely satisfied the traditional requirements for her dowry. I flew her to the United States to deliver my child in one of the best hospitals in America.

“She stayed at my family house in London few months after delivery, before she returned to Nigeria. On her arrival, I had already prepared a well-furnished exquisite apartment for us – this was the first and only times we lived together until the divorce. We only lived together for six months.

“Still on the issue of squatting, it will interest you to know that Tonto will never marry or date a man who lacks prospects or is unsuccessful. She likes to live the life. We broke up in 2016 at a house I newly acquired for my mother in Lekki, Lagos State.”

How I Missed Ill-Fated Ethiopian Aircraft – Greek Passenger

A Greek passenger has hold of how he was saved from being one of the casualties in the Ethiopian plane crash.Antonis Mavropoulos, a Greek man, has narrated how he would have been killed alongside other 149 passengers aboard the crashed Ethiopian Airline Boeing 737, thanking God that he arrived the airport two minutes after the aircraft was already airborne.

The Nairobi-bound Boeing 737 crashed just minutes after an early-morning takeoff from Addis Ababa on Sunday. All on board – 149 passengers and 8 crew members – died in the crash.

Mavropoulos, president of the International Solid Waste Association, a non-profit organisation, was travelling to Nairobi to attend the annual assembly of the UN Environment Programme, according to Athens News Agency. He was supposed to board the plane but he reached the departure gate just two minutes after it was closed.

Sharing a photo of his ticket, he wrote in a Facebook post entitled “My lucky day”: I was mad because nobody helped me to reach the gate on time.

They led me to the police station of the airport. The officer told me not to protest but to pray to God because I was the only passenger that didn’t board the ET 302 flight that was lost.

The airport authorities explained that they wanted to question him because he was the only passenger booked onto the doomed flight who wasn’t on board.

They said they couldn’t let me go before cross-checking my identity, the reason I hadn’t boarded the plane etc.

State-owned Ethiopian Airline took delivery of the Boeing 737-800 MAX plane on November 15. It was the same type as a plane that crashed in October after takeoff from Jakarta, killing all 189 people on board.

Death Toll In New Zealand Shooting Hits 53, Nigerians Mock FG Over Concern

Accounts emerged on Sunday of heroic attempts to tackle a gunman who slaughtered 50 people at two mosques in New Zealand, as authorities prepared to begin releasing the bodies of victims to their families for burial. The death toll, meanwhile, has risen to 53.

Australian Brenton Tarrant, 28, a suspected white supremacist, was charged with murder on Saturday. Tarrant was remanded without a plea and is due back in court on April 5 where police said he was likely to face more charges.

Friday’s attack in the city of Christchurch, which Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern labeled terrorism, was the worst ever peacetime mass killing in New Zealand.

Ardern also said she wanted to talk to Facebook, as footage of the attack on one of the mosques was broadcast live on Facebook, and a “manifesto” denouncing immigrants as “invaders” was posted online via links to related social media accounts minutes before the violence began.

Amid the shock, outrage and recriminations that have consumed New Zealand over the past two days, tales of heroism and self-sacrifice emerged.

Abdul Aziz, 48, was hailed for confronting the shooter at the second mosque and preventing more deaths.

Aziz, originally from Afghanistan, ran outside after the shooting started and picked up a shotgun that the gunman had dropped. The gun had no shells in it, he said.

“I chased him,” Aziz said. “He sat in his car and with the shotgun in my hands, I threw it through his window like an arrow. He just swore at me and took off.”

Another man, Naeem Rashid from Pakistan, was seen on the gunman’s video confronting the shooter before he was killed, the BBC reported. Rashid’s 21-year-old son, Talha, was also killed.

Meanwhile, after the Federal Government had continuously commiserated with New Zealand over the death of over fifty persons, Nigerians have continually mocked the national government for showing more concern on the deaths in New Zealand over the continued killings in Southern Kaduna.

The Federal Government, through information from presidential aides, commiserated with the government and people of New Zealand over the deaths and prayed God to grant the families of the victims the fortitude to bear the loss.

Many Nigerians, meanwhile, took to twitter to handle to ask Federal Government to remove the log in its eyes before looking at a speck in the eyes of its neighbor.

@Mr_Oscar tweeted: “they have come again; Nigeria is boiling in southern kaduna and we are here mourning with others. We should remove the huge log in our eyes before we see properly to remove the speck in New Zealand.”

Also tweeting, @Musa Idris wrote: “Big fool; Nigerias are dying in their numbers particularly in Kaduna and we are here commiserating with New Zealand. Are we not big fool?

Exclusive: Oral Sex Sends 44 year Old Woman Into Spasm of Stroke.

While so many women can give anything to have their V region licked, it turned a harrowed experience for a woman in United Kingdom when her partner was performing oral sex on her and she suddenly suffered stroke and passing out on her point of orgasm.

Medics at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth in West London said the patient was unconscious for three minutes after first suffering a headache during oral sex.

Her partner, whose gender was not revealed, said they noticed during sex that “her body was stiff”.

Doctors this week wrote in a British Medical Journal case report: “On closer history taking, the patient reported nearing orgasm while receiving oral sex from her partner before losing consciousness.

“Her partner estimated she was unconscious for two to three minutes, with no convulsive activity reported. She had otherwise been well preceding the event.”

Doctors initially thought she had suffered a seizure. They sent the woman for a CT scan and it revealed a “trace of acute subarachnoid blood” — a type of stroke that causes bleeding in the space around the brain. The patient’s bleed was caused by a small aneurysm, a bulge on a blood vessel like a balloon or bubble that bursts.

In the report, the doctors acknowledged that sexual activity has been “well-described” as a cause of blood vessels bursting because it increases blood pressure. But they said past studies have only seen this effect during full-blown sex, rather than during oral sex.

They wrote: “Older studies with [artery] monitoring during coitus demonstrate that during sexual activity blood pressure, as well as heart rate, is very [liable to change], with particular rises during orgasm.”

The woman was revealed to be a regular smoker, occasional drinker, asthmatic and had suffered malaria in her brain in her 20s, but these were not directly linked to her stroke in the report.

The woman spent two weeks in hospital in October 2018 before being discharged. Four months after her ordeal, the woman was reported to be well and still having check ups at the hospital.

Exclusive: Plan To Postpone 2019 BBN Uncovered

After the conclusion of the auditions for the 2019 Big Brother Naija, which is in its fourth edition and scheduled to take place in Nigeria, a grand plan to shift the yearly reality show has been uncovered. According to information gathered from a source close to the organisers, the plan to shift the show is as a result of poor logistics from the event planners.

A source who craved anonymity explained to our correspondent that torganisers of the 2019 Big Brother Naija have resorted to showing past editions of the show in order to bid time and wait for when the show, which was originally scheduled to begin by the end of March, will eventually start.

They started to show the penultimate edition tagged ‘See Gobe’, and just this week, they have started to show last year’s edition tagged ‘Double Wahala’, which was won by a pilot trainee, Miracle.

This year’s edition of Big Brother Naija will feature a Nollywood actor, Abayomi Alvin, who is expected to light up the event.
