Hollywood Star, Lance Reddick Dies Of ‘Natural Causes’ At 60

Lance Reddick, the Hollywood actor who starred in ‘John Wick,’ the movie franchise, has passed away.

According to TMZ, the cause of his death is yet to be known but law enforcement sources said it appears to be of natural causes.

If someone dies of or from natural causes, they die because they are ill or old rather than because of an accident or violence.

Lance had been on a press tour for the third sequel of the ‘John Wick’ franchise where he was expected to play the role of ‘Charon.’

On Wednesday, Reddick shared a video of himself, appearing to be at home with his dogs — instead of attending the ‘John Wick 4’ premiere in New York City.

He was also scheduled for a guest appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s show.

Apart from ‘John Wick’, Reddick was also famous for his role as ‘Cedrick Daniels’, the police officer in ‘The Wire,’ the HBO series.

He also had recurring roles on several TV shows and movies including; ‘Fringe,’ ‘Bosch,’ ‘Oz,’ ‘Lost,’ ‘Angel Has Fallen,’ and ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong.’

He was born and raised in Baltimore and earned a music degree from the University of Rochester.

He bagged his Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) from Yale University.

Reddick died at the age of 60.

2023 Gov Election: NNPP in Ogun state vows to sue INEC for omitting party’s name

Olufemi Ajadi, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s candidate for governor in Ogun State, has pledged that the party will file a lawsuit against the Independent National Election Commission for failing to include the party’s name on the ballots.

Ajadi voiced concern that only the party’s logo was on the ballot paper, but the name was glaringly absent, shortly after casting his vote at Ofada in the state’s Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area.

Ajadi said, “We can’t see security everywhere. In my polling unit, the APC gathered thugs to attack me. I’m so disappointed.

“They were dragging guns with my security. This is not an election.

“On the ballot paper, I can’t see my party, the NNPP. We wrote to INEC to make amendment after the initial election.

“Today, we can’t find our party’s name on the ballot paper, only the logo. It’s so disappointing.

“By the grace of God, we are going to court to challenge INEC on why our party’s name was omitted on the ballot paper.

Asked if he had confidence in INEC, he responded, “I don’t have confidence in INEC. They have disappointed Nigerians. It’s a total disappointment.”
