Ex-minister Nwajiuba’s lawsuit against Tinubu and Atiku dismissed by the Supreme Court.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court denied an appeal submitted by Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, a former minister of state for education.
Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party both sought to be disqualified in the appeal.
When the former minister withdrew his claim after learning that it had been submitted outside of the legal deadline and was therefore statute barred, Judge Inyang Okoro dismissed the appeal.
On the same grounds that his lawsuit lacked substance, he had previously lost in the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
