98 percent of 2023 Gubernatorial results uploaded in full by INEC.

For the March 18 gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission has finished uploading the Borno State results.

Of the anticipated 149,263 election results, the Commission has only posted 138,124 thus far.

93% of the final 2023 governorship election results are represented by the results that have been submitted.

It was reported that during the presidential election, INEC received criticism from opposition parties and some Nigerians for delaying the upload of results to its Result Viewing portal.

A few days before the March 18 elections, INEC announced that the technological problems had been resolved and promised that election results would be transferred instantly, notwithstanding the Commission’s explanation that technical difficulties hindered result transmission, which many critics refused to accept.
