Lightening Kills Ten Children In Uganda
Ten children have been confirmed dead while four others were seriously injured after lightning struck them while sheltering from a storm during a football game in northern Uganda on Friday.
Daily Post quoted the police spokeswoman, Josephine Angucia, as saying that the boys, aged 11 to 16, had been sheltering from a storm in a makeshift structure in Arua city, northwest of the capital Kampala on Thursday before the incident happened.
Angucia said young boys had been playing football when it began to rain and lightning struck them.
