Nigeria Maintains Top Spot As FIFA Releases Africa’s Top-Ranked Women National Team

FIFA on Friday released the latest ranking for African women national teams with the Super Falcons of Nigeria maintaining their top spot.
The serial African Champions are however rated 39th in the world and they are followed on the continent by Cameroon on the 49th position in the world.


In the third place in South Africa while Ghana is fourth and Ivory Coast sits fifth, even as former African Champions, Equatorial Guinea, are sixth.


Meanwhile, Morocco, Mali, Algeria, and Congo complete Africa’s top ten national teams.
