French Class Appoints Former Nigerian Captain, Enyeama, As Coach
The French Championnat National 3 club, Club de Croix, has announced the appointment of Vincent Enyema, former Super Eagles of Nigeria Captain, as goalkeeper trainer.
Enyeama will be in charge of all the Championnat National 3 side goalkeepers from the club’s Reserve Team down to its Under-16 side.
This will be the first appointment of Vincent Enyeama since he left French Ligue 1 side, Lille in 2018. Enyeama kept for Ibom Stars, Enyimba, and Iwuanyanwu Nationale in the Nigerian League before traveling abroad to feature for Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Tel Aviv in Isreal. He helped Enyimba in winning the once elusive CAF Champions League in 2003 and he is the only goalkeeper to score in both CAF Champions League and UEFA Champions League.
