SIERRA LEONE BORN POP STAR, MOS-B RECEIVE A ROUSING WELCOME IN CONAKRY GUINEA
The tides are changing for Sierra Leone music industry as music stars keep striving to showcase their skills beyond the shores of their home country. Recently, pop star, Moses Amos Bangura popular known amongst his admirers as Mos-B, was given rousing welcome by hundreds of fans in neighbouring Conakry, Guinea in a convoy. The France based music star is billed to perform at the Open Gate International School Campus on the 23rd November 2019 in Conakry under the umbrella of CELEBRITY RECORD LABEL and members his fan club in Guinea.
Mos-B had earlier missed his connecting flight on transit in Morocco before he finally landed in Guinea where he would be performing for the first time in his career.
His visit to Conakry is part of his scheduled tours across the world. Mos-B has toured many nations across Europe and other parts of the world, making him the most sought-after Sierra Leone born artist so far, he is not new to have performed various cities like France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, etc where he had exhibited his dexterity to perform live with his guitar and other musical instruments.
His popularity soared in the year 2000 when he composed ‘Sweet Salone’, a reminiscence of eleven years Civil war in Sierra Leone before he sojourned for greener pastures in Europe where he later studied pop music at university and recorded other hit songs like ‘1000 Miles’, ‘My Story’ and ‘Kugbe’, ‘Maloholima’.
He has just been nominated as Diaspora Artist of the Year and Best Live Performer at the forthcoming 2019 National Entertainment Awards (NEA), and as Best Diaspora Artist of the Year in the 2019 Faces of the North Entertainment Awards (FaNEA)
