Akeredolu starts yearly leave

Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo State, has started his official annual break.

The yearly vacation, which will be the first installment of his 2023 annual leave, is rumored to continue for 15 working days.

This was said in a statement made on Monday by Richard Olatunde, his chief press secretary.

In the announcement, it was revealed that the governor had addressed a letter to the state House of Assembly on this.

The statement read, ” In a letter transmitted to the state House of Assembly and addressed to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun, Governor Akeredolu said the leave will commence from Monday, 3rd to Tuesday, 25th April, 2023, both days inclusive.

“While Governor Akeredolu is away on vacation, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will perform the functions of the office of the Governor.  The governor will resume for duties on Wednesday, 26th April, 2023.”

BBTitans: South Africa’s Khosi Wins, Walks Away With $100,000

Khosi from South Africa has won the first season of Big Brother Titans (BBTitans), taking home a $100,000 grand prize.

On Sunday, Khosi defeated five other competitors in the show’s “Ziyakhala Wahala” finale.

Tsatsii, Ipeleng, Ebubu, Yvonne, and Kanaga Jnr are the five finalists.

The show, which premiered on January 15 and lasted 78 days, is the first Big Brother to feature only South African and Nigerian contestants.

Khosi, who is a journalist is originally from KwaZulu-Natal and lives in Johannesburg South Africa.

According to the BBTitans’ website, “Khosi’s personality suits her journalism profession: she is talkative and open-minded. While adventurous, she is also self-aware.”
