Soludo vows to pay school fees of 2,300 secondary school students
On Thursday, Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo pledged to cover the third term tuition for 2,350 pupils of the Urban Girls Secondary School in Fegge, Onitsha, for the academic year 2022–2023.
During his assessment visit to the school, Soludo made the commitment to pay the fees out of his own pocket.
The Governor also took the opportunity to exhort the students to continue serving as positive representatives of the state.
He repeatedly emphasized the necessity to practice good hygiene at home and at school.
The Governor urged the instructors to give their utmost to the kids and reaffirmed that his administration would continue to place a high focus on high-quality education.
